![]() Streamlabs uses about 12 of my CPU vs traditional OBS using about 5-6. The ONLY thing that other streaming services have over Streamlabs is the CPU usage. Video Capture Device sources have been updated to support frame rates above 60 FPS and to automatically set up the audio input for many devices that previously required manual configuration. Streamlabs made it easy to begin streaming with their MASSIVE variety of overlays, alert boxes, and stream labels for your stream. ![]() I'm not saying you should choose one or the other, but stating it need more hardware is not correct. Check the release notes linked above for the full list! Streamlabs OBS uses less system resource than OBS, and you also need only one software open for stream + notifications + chat while if you use OBS you have to start three or more separate softwares to do the same. There are also several smaller updates and QOL improvements, such as media key support for Linux, less restrictive replay buffer limits, muting of browser docks, dynamic bitrate recovery improvements, and more. You can choose from 30+ social channels to stream to at once. If you want to get the most out of your live streams, try multistreaming with Restream. If you’re a gamer and have a powerful PC, Streamlabs is the better choice. These tools should help people further fine-tune their audio setups. However, OBS Studio requires fewer system resources. Two new audio filters have been added! An upward compressor, which helps normalize volume from being too quiet, and a 3-band EQ for making simple adjustments to the levels of your audio. ![]() On macOS, HEVC and ProRes are now supported. Create interactivity with your viewers through our powerful integrations with Twitch, OBS, Streamlabs Desktop, and more. On Windows, we now support AV1 for AMD RX7000 series GPUs, and AV1/HEVC for supported Intel GPUs. This release brings many new additional encoders to Windows and macOS. ![]() Welcome to OBS Studio 29! This release comes with many new encoder updates and features, all of which can be found in the release notes, but we've highlighted a few here. However, the changes also mean that displays will no longer potentially switch if anything has been unplugged or changed. Note for Windows Users: Due to changes to how Display Capture on Windows identifies and saves monitors you will need to re-select your display for any existing capture sources.

![]() ![]() ![]() Based on the datasheet we can see that the ILIM pin is used to control the value of the maximum allowed current draw. This current limiting is handled by a switching current limiting chip on the motherboard. 100mA is probably fine for stuff like mice, keyboards, game controllers but can cause instability or incompatibility if a device requires more draw. For mass storage devices and other devices, this is probably too low. The two USB ports on the front of the PlayStation Classic are current-limited meaning they will only provide 5v 100mA. It should be plenty for anything attached to the system. To ensure safety from potential electrical fires, make sure to only bridge the points labeled above and only use a USB power adapter rated at maximum 2A. Hardware Modification USB Current Limiting ĭisabling the current limiting should be fairly safe, however only attempt it if you know what you are doing and can be responsible for possible risks. The Classic uses the ReARMed branch of the free and open source emulator PCSX to play its games. It includes 16 GB of eMMC flash storage and 1 GB of DDR3 memory. Internally, the console uses a MediaTek 8167a Quad A35 system on a chip with four central processing cores clocked at 1.3 GHz and a Power VR GE8300 graphics processing unit. The controller's cords measure approximately 1.5 metres (4.9 ft) long. It includes ports for both controllers, HDMI output, and power via USB. The console weighs about 170 grams (0.37 lb) and is about 149 mm × 33 mm × 105 mm (5.9 in × 1.3 in × 4.1 in) in size, approximately 80% smaller in volume than the original PlayStation and 45% smaller in width and length. An AC adapter for the console is sold separately. The PlayStation Classic ships with two replica PlayStation Controllers (the original model, which are without analog sticks), an HDMI cable, and a USB Micro-A to standard USB-A cable. The console has been compared to competitor Nintendo's prior releases of the NES and Super NES Classic Edition mini consoles. It was announced in September 2018 at the Tokyo Game Show, and released on December 3, 2018, the 24th anniversary of the release of the original. The PlayStation Classic is a dedicated video game console by Sony Interactive Entertainment that emulates games originally released on its 1994 PlayStation console. ![]() 8 Serial Port Information and Root Shell. |
